Update from summer list 50 things to do

1.      OC Fair:
a.      Highlights: hamster ball on water, giant alligator,  giant steer, giant horse, farm animals cacophony[like a goat youtube(see below)  times 10], funnel cake, BUTTERFLY feeding for $1!, sky tram, giant air flip ride (see below), fun house, winning new Beta fish called Archibald Merrimac the First, seeing piglet with a tshirt on (not really but his skin was colored that way)

GOAT CACOPHANY IN SONGSHUGE RIDE I WENT ON AT OC FAIR




2.      Seeing Wolverine: Rating 8.5
3.      Bowling at Irvine Lanes
4.      Attempt at seeing Saturn, failed due to clouds but was super fun
5.      Baseball game with friends, Angels win over the Toronto Blue Jays
6.      Lemonade stand for charity: raised $350 for cancer research
7.      Operation Paperback book collection: mailed 311 books to military families
8.      Paperback books and games for South County Outreach
9.      Garage Sale raised over $300, $40 to Jessie Rees Foundation, $40 to Ovarian Cancer, $40 to South County Outreach, mom gave her 1/3 to charity, last 1/3 was used to buy new Nike backpack and Nike socks
 
 
Other fun things
1.      Saw Maccabi games opening ceremony, ArtsFest, and basketball
2.      Saw Pageant of Masters with my Grandma and Max (cousin)-better 2nd time

5. Re-read The Adventures Of Tintin comic series

  4. Montage Beach-major rescues by lifeguards, toddler being pulled into the deep ocean
  5. Trumpet Academy with Barry Perkins: http://barryp.com/trumpet-academy Barry is the first chair of Pacific Symphony and has played 3rd chair with LA Phil, and is in TONS of summer movies playing the trumpet like: White House Down, Lone Ranger, Pacific Rim, Monsters University, Spiderman, Wolverine, Men in Black 3, and so many more. He also knows Bruno Mars band. I met a famous trumpet player, Dave Evans http://www.csulb.edu/depts/music/brass/david_evans.html
  6. Saw Pacific Rim -My review A for action scenes, pretty good plot that wasn't very predictable
  7. Saw World War Z-My review A- , if you get scared easily, don't see it since there are some frightening scenes. A very good plot, but predictable.
  8. Sorted all my toys for selling at upcoming garage sale: July 27th!
  9. Got a new Babolat racquet and a new Samsung Galaxy tablet
Summer fun foods
  1. Ate S'mores, looking forward to the OC Fair for more fun eating!
